One warm pool of light lands on the keyboard and stops there, with the wall behind you dropped to near-black. Nothing pulses, shifts or breathes while you work.
EPOCH 01 — Height-adjustable desk
A 2mm-wall steel frame, a sealed cable spine, and a matte surface that stays quiet under lamplight, ring light, or a monitor at 2 a.m.
“I record two hours a day at this thing. The frame doesn’t hum on the way up, and honestly that’s the whole review.”
“Raised and lowered it about four hundred times since November. It still lands on the same millimetre every time.”
“The cable spine took me eleven minutes. I have spent longer than that untangling one monitor cable.”
The integrated edge light has three presets and nothing else — no app, no account, no firmware update. Turn the dial; the desk changes the room.
One warm pool of light lands on the keyboard and stops there, with the wall behind you dropped to near-black. Nothing pulses, shifts or breathes while you work.
A wider, flatter spill that covers two chairs, a controller and whatever is on the floor. Brightness holds within 2% so a camera never hunts for exposure.
Output falls from full to 8% across nine minutes, slow enough that you stop noticing it. At the end the desk returns to standing height and holds there overnight.
Three parts, stacked. Power enters once at the left leg, travels inside the frame, and surfaces where your hands already are.
Machined ports at both rear corners, so the same desk works left-tower or right-tower. Blanking caps are included if you only need one.
Holds a 240W brick, a hub and eight cables. Pull the front lip and it hinges down for access without crawling under the desk or removing a single screw.
The actuator loom and your extension lead share a channel inside the left column, clipped every 90mm so nothing rattles or snags through the full travel.
One cable leaves the desk and goes to the wall. That is the whole visible story from the front of the room.
Measured figures from our own test rig, not supplier datasheets. If a number moves in production, we publish the new one.
Surface
A dense core so the top doesn’t drum, under a laminate chosen for how little it reflects on camera.
Frame
Thicker walls and screw-driven actuators, which is why it is heavier than most desks and quieter than all of them.
Pick the depth your monitor arm needs and the width your room allows. Price shown is the full desk; the deposit comes off it.
All three sizes take the 640mm cable tray and both grommets. Wide ships as two boxes; Compact and Standard ship as one.
It holds a unit from the launch batch in your name and takes $95 off the final price. We charge the remaining balance when your desk is packed and ready to leave the workshop, not before.
Launch-batch desks leave the workshop between 12 and 26 May, in reservation order. You get a build date by email within 48 hours of reserving, and a courier window three days before dispatch.
If a date slips, we email you before the date passes — not after.
Yes, up until your build date. Reply to your confirmation email and we’ll move you across; you pay or receive the difference at the balance stage. Changing size may move your ship date if that size is further along the queue.
Top, two columns, two feet, crossbeam, cable tray, grommet caps, hex driver and eight bolts. No loose parts bag, no proprietary tool.
Median assembly time across 34 test builds was 22 minutes for one person. The tray and grommets add about five.
No. It has a three-position dial and a brightness wheel under the front-right edge. There is no radio in the desk, no account to make, and nothing to update. The three modes are the three modes.
You are reserving a place in the launch batch, not committing to a purchase. Nothing else happens until we email you a build date.
Your $95 deposit is refundable in full, for any reason, any time before your desk ships — reply to your receipt and the money is back on your card within five working days.
Shipping is $0 within the contiguous US and included in the totals above. Taxes are calculated at the balance stage.
